The New Jersey Counseling Association will host its three day Annual Conference and cordially invites you to attend on

Friday evening April 9th, from 3-8pm

Saturday April 10th, from 9am to 5pm and

Sunday April 11th, from 9am to 5pm.

The purpose of our Conference is to gather Licensed Professional Counselors and mental health care providers in related fields for 3 days of thought provoking seminars and workshops, education, relationship development and an opportunity to earn required continuing education credits. At the 2010 conference, we will continue the tradition of providing our attendees with interesting and diverse speakers and experts in a variety of specialties within the mental health and related fields.

CRCC Update

CRCC Welcomes CVE, CWA, and CCAA Vocational Assessment Professionals

CRCC is proud to announce it has assumed new responsibilities for oversight and management of the following designations for vocational assessment professionals:
 
CVE    Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist
CWA   Certified Work Adjustment Specialist
CCAA Certified Career Assessment Associate 
 
CVEs, CWAs, and CCAAs provide services and support to help individuals meet their career goals.  Specifically, they:

  • Recommend vocational/career goals and develop personal employment profiles;
  • Assist with return to productive work;
  • Create planning documents for motivation to complete school and/or career-related training programs;
  • Assist with planning and development of rehabilitation and training programs;
  • Assure better job placement via valid occupational information;
  • Provide support for career decision-making processes; and
  • Facilitate job search, placement, and retention.

CRCC is dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of these important credentials via:

  • Enforcement of the CVE/CWA/CCAA Code of Ethics;
  • Implemetnation of the CVE/CWA/CCAA certification renewal process;
  • Oversight of CVE/CWA/CCAA continuing education requirements; and 
  • Maintenance of all CVE/CWA/CCAA contact information.
We are excited to be adding these important, credentialed vocational assessment professionals into the CRCC fold.  We look forward to serving this distinguished group with excellence.
